Guests enjoy a comfortable experience at this wonderfully remote Wild Coast resort. Our bedrooms all have a private balcony or patio to enjoy the wonderful views whether it is of the sea, the lagoon or valley. We have 48 well appointed, en-suite rooms of which 36 are log cabins and 12 in thatched units that blend beautifully into the lush natural environment of Pondoland. 12 rooms interconnect – perfect for families. We also cater for sporting, adventure and conference groups.

Looking for a different conference or team building venue? Then look no further… our little paradise on the Wild Coast is the perfect getaway for corporate team building events or conferences looking for a remote feel (without having to sacrifice home comforts) and that can cater up to 96 people.
At Mbotyi River Lodge on the Wild Coast you can start your conference/team building at a gorge with a waterfall in the background. Then move onto the beach before returning to your conference room at the luxury lodge – to do your serious stuff, while the lodge staff prepare your delicious meals and attend to your comfort and other needs. Flexibility, innovation and going the extra mile when hosting conference/team building groups are our forte.
Facts and figures:
- Sleep max 70 persons sharing in the lodge (campsite huts can sleep another 22).
- Can accommodate 60 delegates in cinema style seating – and 35 delegates in U-shape conference seating.
- Team building activities – canoeing, beach golf, volleyball, games room with table tennis, pool tables and darts, horse riding, short hiking trails and fishing. Other team building activities have included teams having a potjiekos competition, and even teams doing a community task like painting and putting down lines for the local soccer team’s soccer field.
